Attractions

We breed llamas at Camelot, having approximately 25 animals at any one time and Follyfoot breeds rare and endangered species of farm animals, poultry and waterfowl. These are all available for our guests to view. Learn why it is important we retain these rare breeds of animals and must not lose them.
Bush walking with great scenery, abundance of wildlife including wallabies, echidnas, king parrots, and wedgetail eagles.
Walk with the llamas or purchase a picnic basket and picnic with the llamas
You are invited to join in feeding up, either am or pm of our many animals on the farm – horses, cattle, donkeys, llamas and of course not forgetting our rare and unusual hinnies – a cross between a donkey and a horse (donkey mother/horse father)
These are different from mules with whom they are sometimes confused, mules having a horse mother and donkey father.
We are very handy to the villages of Dungog with its many heritage listed buildings, antique stores, galleries, and our very famous picture theatre – the oldest in NSW. View a movie at country prices and receive a complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. Gresford with three wineries with cellar door outlets, Vacy has an Olive Farm which is open to the public with a tea room and shop displaying their farm produce and gifts.
Further afield (around 1 hours drive from the farm) you have several choices – Pokolbin with the numerous wineries it has to offer, Gloucester to the north with a variety of farm gate attractions, Port Stephens on the coast if you like the sea and the tourist village of Morpeth with numerous attractions. Barrington Tops is also a must see whilst you are staying in our area.
Just ask us and we can put together a daily itinerary for each of these locations.
Camelot Lavender Farm also hosts cooking classes, aromatherapy classes and llama field days on regular basis dependant on demand.
Camelot, as well as having the above attractions, is home to an Arabian horse stud. We have been breeding these horses for some 35 years and have successfully shown to championship and supreme exhibit level many many times at state and national shows over a period of some 20 years
